Sweat Wallet and $SWEAT are launching in the U.S. on Sept 12 with 690M $SWEAT allocation

Good news is coming, and residents of the United States, Bahamas, Barbados, Botswana, Ghana, Jamaica, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, and Uganda can now download Sweat Wallet from Google Play and the App Store and get prepared for our big launch on September 12, 2023!

Opt in by 11:59 p.m. UTC on September 11, 2023 in your Sweatcoin app to get your share of 690M $SWEAT allocated for launch.

After opting in, on September 12, 2023, you’ll download your Sweat Wallet and receive a proportional allocation of $SWEAT based on your accrued sweatcoins. The more sweatcoins you have, the more $SWEAT you’ll be allocated. This number will be reflected in your Sweat Wallet balance.

Here’s how to opt in:

  1. On the Sweatcoin app homepage, click “Opt-in now” from the banner titled “Convert sweatcoins to crypto”
  2. Click “Login with Sweatcoin”
  3. Click “Approve and login”

That’s it!

At 11:59 p.m. UTC on September 11, 2023, we’ll take a snapshot of your sweatcoin balance, calculate your share of the allocation, and add it to your Sweat Wallet balance on September 12, 2023. The allocated tokens will unlock in 24 months linearly.

If you do not opt in from your Sweatcoin homescreen before 11:59 p.m. UTC on September 11, 2023, you’ll still be able to use Sweat Wallet, but you won’t be able to receive any of the $SWEAT allocated for launch.

How much $SWEAT can I get if I opt-in now?

Thanks to the community’s support and participation in the latest governance vote, there will be 690M $SWEAT allocated to support this launch.

These 690M $SWEAT will be allocated to all opted-in users in proportion to their total sweatcoin balance. The amount will be placed into the lock-up contract with linear second-by-second unlock over a period of 24 months.
